He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Thompson and Florence Thompson (Bunch); and his daughter Tami Darlene Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Joanna Thompson of Salem, Vicky Thompson of Canal Winchester and Loretta Goen (Mike) of Salem. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Hardinsburg Cemetery.
