He is survived by : his son Merle Dale Hardy; his siblings, Anthony Hardy, Anna Roningen and Jennifer Ripley; and his grandchildren, Michael Dale Hardy, Savannah Michaels and Maranda Hardy. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
