He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Mac" McKnight and Della McKnight; and his sister Kathrin "McKnight" Graves. He is survived by: his wife Joyce McKnight; his daughter Bobbi (Mike); and his grandsons, Justin Barriger (Kaylee) and Joshua Barriger.
