He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Berry and Mary Leona Berry (Flinchun); his spouse Shirley Berry (Lane); and his brothers, Joseph R. and Albert H. Berry.

He is survived by: his children, David L. Berry (Debbie) of Salem, Danny H. Perry (Maxine) of Knoxville, John F. Perry (Gina) of Pekin, Cynthia L. Keene (Shayne) of Avon Park, Suzette L. Broady of Sellersburg and Betty P. Jones (Donnie) of Scottsburg; and his siblings, Roy C. Berry of Campbellsville, James A. Berry of Campbellsville, Doyle R. Berry of Campbellsville and Morine Ettel of Clarksville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
