He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Mary (Soprich); his siblings, Walter, John, Lillian, Joseph, Judy, Lottie, Wanda and Loretta; his children-in-law, Linda (Tom) and Bill (Carol); and his grandson Thomy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Green; and his children, Carol Widner of Monterey, Tom Potempa of San Pierre, David Potempa of Lima, Pam Robinson of Mishawaka and Philip Potempa of San Pierre. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the O'Donnell Funeral Home (302 Lane St, North Judson, IN 46366). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (201 W Eliza St, San Pierre, IN 46374-9582).
