She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Thomas and Eunice Thomas (Brown); her husband Larry Hunter; her son Kenton Hunter; and her siblings, Marti Thomas, Larry, Richard, James and Paul.

She is survived by: her daughter Tara Taylor (Kevin); her brothers, David Thomas (Karen) and John Thomas (Lynn); her daughter-in-law Roberta Hicks; and her sister-in-law Edna Thomas. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Wheatfield, or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association- Samaritan's Purse.
