It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Sargent of Sandborn, Indiana, born in Burns City, Indiana, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Garrett Sargent and Farrel A. Sargent (Baker); his wife Carolyn Sargent (Peden); and his brother Rowe Dean Sargent. He is survived by : his sons, Gary Sargent (Gretchen) of Owensburg, Greg Sargent (Lori) of Sandborn and Todd Sargent (Angie) of Owensburg; and his brother Roger Gary Sargent.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meng Family Funeral Home (616 E Elnora St, Odon, IN 47562). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandborn Lions Club in memory of Kay.
