It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol E. Roark of Schererville, Indiana, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chmielewski and Dorothy Chmielewski; her daughter Robin Dene Roark; and her sister Karen Shanahan. She is survived by: her husband James R. Roark; her son David Roark (Melissa); her grandchildren, Carina Brown, Tara Michalek (Danieal), Aston Roark (Sara), Chad Roark (Jamie) and McKayla Roark; and her great grandchildren, Henry and Margo Roark.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
