He was predeceased by: his father William; his brother Chris; and his nephew Alex. He is survived by: his mother Shirley; his daughter Heather (Eric); his granddaughter Vivienne Elpers; his significant other Jennifer Watanabe; his brothers, Kent Carpenter (Danielle) and Craig Carpenter (Laura); his siblings' children, Andrew, Benjamin, Samuel, Brandon, Courtney and Ashley; his great-nephews, Charlie and Henry; his children, Christopher, Carrie and Melanie; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Mackenzie and Vivi.
