With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elveena Kostelyk of Schererville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Albert C. Kostelyk; her siblings, Gerald LaFleur (late Gertrude) and Sidney LaFleur (Lois); and her parents, Sidney LaFleur and Nina LaFleur.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1966 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Crown Point Christian School (https://www.crownpointchristian.org) or Elim Christian Services.
