She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Thompson, Sr.; her parents, William Jones and Dorothy Jones; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kirkland (Buff) and William Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Lyn Scheidel (Tim) and Robert Thompson Jr. (Joanna); her grandchildren, Shannon Brand (Mark), Leah Thompson and Macy Thompson; and her brother Jerry Jones (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
