He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Ferrantelli; his siblings, Michael, Katie, Paul, Marion (Butch) and Josephine; and his parents, Vincenzo Ferrantelli and Lena Ferrantelli.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr. Ferrantelli (Christine), Linda Ferrantelli (Thomas Nowak), Karen Toth (Gregory) and Michael Ferrantelli (Raejean Zipko); his grandchildren, Eric Toth, Karla Jones, Gregory Bales (Sarah Ryan), Jordan Ferrantelli (Christina), Lenea Apel (John), Kelsy Littlejohn (Brian), Alexander Nowak (Ksenia) and Paige DiChiara (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Luna, Sawyer, Sadie, Sullivan, Katherine, Annalena, Rosalie, Leonardo and Zosia.
