It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Jefferson of Schererville, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Witecki and Irene Witecki; her siblings, Frank Witecki, Carolyn Witecki and Rodger Witecki; and her dear love Jimmy D. Thompson.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Vengrin (Greg) and Vernon Jefferson (Nora); her grandchildren, Annastasia, Christian (Lyndee) and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Kevin, Gianna, Adalia, Andrew and Jackson; her sister Jerry Steed (Jimmy); her niece Cara Witecki (Tim); and her great-nephew Tyler.
