She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Mazzarelli and Silvio Mazzarelli. She is survived by: her children, David (Michelle), Sue (Tim) and Carolyn (Robert); her grandchildren, Ben, Nicholas, Katie, Alexander, Bella and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Maverick and Declan.

“My deepest condolences to Susan's family. Susan was a dear friend. We met while walking our dogs quite a few years ago. She was a lively, intelligent , kind person. We had many discussion about the world , people, dogs and mostly books. We shared thoughts on so many authors and she gave me names of authors I would like. I borrowed so many books from her during covid, I laughingly called her my go to librarian. I am so glad I went to visit her just a short time ago. I will miss her. Donna Hays”
