He was predeceased by: his parents, Alburta Slegel (Bushman) and Albert Slegel; and his brother John Slegel. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Slegel (Morrow); his children, Andrea LeDoux (Dan Lello) of Mishawaka, IN and John Matthew Slegel (Kelly) of Chicago, IL; his stepdaughter Deidre Danek of Clinton, IN.; his grandsons, Ian LeDoux, Gabriel Lewis-Danek and Wyatt Lewis-Danek; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle and Barry.
In lieu of flowers, Wayne asked that donations be made to the Griffith Educational Foundation.
