He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Conroy; and his parents, Thomas Conroy and Eleanor Conroy. He is survived by: his children, William J. Conroy Jr., Timothy Conroy (Julie), James Conroy (Fran), Diane Schweinhagen (Timothy) and Catherine Conroy; and his siblings, Thomas Conroy (Mary), Kathleen Conroy and John Conroy (Jan).
