He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Ritchison and Dorthy Ritchison (Kyle); and his wife Judy Diann Sipes. He is survived by: his children, Debra French (Brian) of Greensburg and Jay Patrick Ritchison of Franklin; his sister Brenda Oldham (James) of Westport; his grandchildren, Kyle French, Julie Kirchhoff (John), Bryce French (Mary Smith), Chaena Campbell (Bud), Isaac "Jake" Ritchison (Jessica), Jeremy Ritchison (Anissa) and Casey Ritchison (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Myrissa, Ella, Izzy, Hallie, Brooks, Liam, Aiden, Braydon, Aurora and Saige.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home (402 E Bennett St, Westport, IN 47283). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westport Volunteer Fire Department or Letts Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home.
