She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Emitt Posey; and her brother Lemuel "Jay" Pelley. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Lynn Posey (Debbie) of Reddington and Doyle Dean Posey of Scipio; her granddaughters, Crystal Lucas (Darin) of Columbus, Dena Johnson (Jason) of Columbus, Heather Posey (Adam Freyn) of Columbus and April Lyle (Cameron) of Bedford; her great grandchildren, Kelsay Moore (Dayton), Cloey Abner, Bryce Abner (Narissa), Jason Shuey (Riley), Kiptyn, Mavys Johnson, Connor, Cooper Posey, Jackson Freyn, Vada and Mabel Lyle; her great great grandchildren, Emmalynn, Waylon, Wrenley Moore and Iris Abner; and her siblings, Sue Scott of Columbus and Mitch Pelley (Clara) of Danville, KY..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers - Reed Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
