It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Yvonne Hatfield of Scipio, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 86, on July 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Maple and Frances Irene New (Richey); her spouse Kyle Patrick Hatfield; her daughter Marty Lynn Shaw; and her sister Margaret Zapf.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert New Hatfield (Cindy Richardson) of Scipio and Brian Hatfield (Debbie) of North Vernon; and her grandchildren, Cristi Hatfield, Craig Hatfield, Sarah Dyer (Jon), Melissa Edwards (Ryan), Kyle Hatfield (Nikki), Helen Archer (Tasi) of Erika Swindell, B. J. and Ryne Shaw (Whitney). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery (3945 W 1000 N, Westport, IN 47283).
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Yvonne to Interim Hospice in Scottsburg.
