She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Heilman and Sadie Heilman; her husband Larry Cowan; her son Sammy Joe Cowan; and her grandsons, David Campbell and George Napier.
She is survived by: her sons, David Cowan (Janice) and Larry Cowan; her siblings, Paul Heilman (Sharon), Roberta and Janice (Steve); and her grandchildren, Brittany (Jimmy), Katelyn, Tammy, Corey, Brady, Cassie, Brandi, Dillon, Krystal and Tate. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
