Though Dorwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gene and Susan Lawson. He is survived by: his siblings, La-Jiness Lawson (Teresa) of Scottsburg, Allen Lawson (Janice) of Scottsburg and Sabrina Voss (Kevin) of Scottsburg. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (5128 County Rd 225 S, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
