It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie L. Perkinson of Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Everitt Perkinson and Geneva Mae Perkinson (Peacock); his wife Jeanne Joann Perkinson (Comer); his son Dale Perkinson; his sisters, Barbara Bowen and Nancy Mayhew; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Hailee Foist.

He is survived by : his son Jackie L. Perkinson, Jr. (Londa) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his brothers, John Perkinson (Beth) of Deputy and Gary Perkinson (Shirley) of Deputy, Indiana; his grandchildren, Regina Helton (Josh), Kay-Lynn Foist (Tyler), Cheyenne House (Michael) and Dakota Perkinson; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Jase Helton, Paxton, Quenton, Zayne Foist, Landon, Paisley Jesse and Carter Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
