We announce the death of James Baugh Sr. in Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 83. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Baugh, and James E. Baugh, Sr.; his wife Bonnie Baugh; his grandson Brandon Reul; and his brother Larry Baugh.
He is survived by: his children, James E. Baugh III, Ebony Reul (Kevin), Greg Blankenbaker and Aaron Baugh (Stephanie); his sisters, Claudette Rudolph, Edna Logsdon and Rita Bailey; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Christopher (Kaitlyn), Olivia (Caleb), Cassandra (Jacob), Zoe (Jake), Alexis, Desiree (Jake) and Katie. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Scott Chapel (921 Main St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
