He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin and Maxine Walton (Mount). He is survived by: his son Dr. James Walton of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Johnnie Walton (Rhoda) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Barbara Nichols (Bill) of Scottsburg and Bonnie Trabue (Steve) of Scottsburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
