Katherine Frances Eldridge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 97, Katherine Frances Eldridge (Scottsburg, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Clifton McDaniel, Sr. and Georgia Mae Rountree McDaniel; her husband Lawrence Eldridge; her children, Frances Pruett, Donnie Eldridge and Gary Lane Eldridge; her son-in-law Lynn Pruett; her great grandchild Brian Miller; and her siblings, Walker McDaniel, Jr., George McDaniel, Donald McDaniel, Rosa Gladys Bristoe, Barbara Jean Frederick, Willadean Hicks and Nancy Jo Bray.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Sumner, Shirley Vittitow, Nancy Hardin, Orby Bush, Betty Harvey, Bonita Eldridge, Lawrence "Junior" Eldridge, Richard Eldridge and John Eldridge. She is also survived by her 28 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given in her name to the Lexington Christian Church.
