He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Watts Sr. and Opal Watts; his wife Martha Lou Lovely Watts; his son Gregory Scott Watts; and his siblings, Gene Watts, Shirley Combs, Herschel Watts and David Watts.

He is survived by: his children, Dede Smith (Larry) and Gary Watts (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jason Watts, Brett Watts, Maddie Mitchell, Natalie McDaniel, Nick Smith, Jakeb Watts and Luke Watts; his siblings, Rosa Watts, Reva Turner, Andy Watts (Penny), Howard Watts (Diane), Albert Watts (Kay), Ben Watts (Michelle) and Linda Anderson (Bob); and his sisters-in-law, Nita Watts Myrtle Watts and Donna Watts. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
