He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stevens, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Stevens (Ware); and his siblings, Barbara Avendano and Charlie Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Rita Campbell; his sons, Jeremy Stevens (Nikki), Justin Stevens (Chelsea) and Jeff Stevens (Dana); his siblings, Christine Barger (Joe), John Stevens, Dorothy Harris, Donald Stevens and Joe Stevens; and his grandchildren, Kenzie, Zeb, Ellie, Micaiah, Lucy, Asher, Judah, Dax, Cana and Ezra. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (255 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
