He was predeceased by: his parents, James Junior Gardner and Dorine Prewitt (Brown); and his siblings, Greg Gardner, Larry Gardner and Linda Dryer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Diana Riebel of Crystal Beach, Florida, Terry Gardner of Deputy and Ronnie Gardner (Becky) of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
