She was predeceased by: her parents, Irven Sweet and Elizabeth Sweet (Link); her husband Alva Fluhr, Sr.; her siblings, Robert Sweet, Irvin Sweet, Jr., Ricky Sweet, James Sweet and Florence Powers; and her son-in-law John Mayville.
She is survived by: her children, William Howell, Jr. (Joyce), Belinda Bowling (Kevin) of Underwood, Alva "Buster" Fluhr, Jr. (Tawyna) of Sellersburg, Wanda Burge (John) of Scottsburg, Peter Fluhr (Becky) of Sellersburg, Janice Mayville of Sellersburg, Rowena "Anne" Meredith (Brian) of Sellersburg, Alisa Amos (Philip) of Kodak, Bonnie Embry (Brian) of New Albany, Phillip Fluhr (Tiffany) of Salem and Stanley Fluhr (Jessica) of Pekin, Indiana; and her siblings, Herman "Butch" Sweet, Pat Amos, Dixie Robinson and Deborah Hurtt. She is also survived by forty grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
