Higdon (Rose) of Scottsburg; his children, Joseph Higdon (Brandy) and Hill (Mike); his grandchildren, Karson Higdon (Kiara), Kendra Higdon, Rachel Surber (Chance Murphy), Mariah Surber (Michael Gordon), Hannah Surber (Cody Estes), Mia Kallenbach (Jeremy) and Chloe Moerer; his great grandchildren, Ellie Moerer, McKinley Banks and Noah Gordon; and his siblings, James "Jim" Anthony Higdon (Yvonne), Rose Marie Jones, Raymond Louis Higdon (Carol), Norma Jean (Higdon) and Burress (Phil). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory (138 Westavia Blvd, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
