Mark Yost Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Yost of Sellersburg, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mark had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Mark may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Yost, Sr. (Bob) and Mary Frances Yost (Henderson). He is survived by: his brother James R. Yost (Bob); and his sibling's children, Brooke A. Yost Dupree and Brian R. Yost (Caitlin). He is also survived by 8 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W St Joe Rd, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to St. John Paul II Catholic Church, Mass on the Air, or Amedisys Hospice.
