We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, at the age of 87, Mary Lou Gibbs (Selma, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Glover and Leona Glover (Smith); her husband Everett Gibbs; her grandson Samuel Gibbs; her sisters, Shirley Taylor and Emily Lucas; and also Emmett Glover, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Gibbs (Cindy), Mark Gibbs (Julia) and James Gibbs (Renee); her grandchildren, Amy Haney (John), Heather Clawson (Dave), Maureen DeWitt (John), Jacob Gibbs (Marisa), Justin Gibbs and Nathan Gibbs (Amelia Hughes); and her great grandchildren, Nick Haney (Morgan Hicks), Sarah Haney, Dylan Clawson, Carly Clawson and Madeline DeWitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Selma Christ Global Methodist Church (9805 E Jackson St, Selma, IN 47383). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
