He was predeceased by: his sister Janie Shook; and his parents, Oscar'Junior'W. Shook and Marjorie N. Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca'Becky'Sue Shook (Bilby); his children, Kerri Halligan (Glenn), Melissa'Missy'Blackmer (Joe) and Shawn Caldwell (Misty); his grandchildren, Brandon, Kyleigh Blackmer, An'drew Caldwell, Makayla Jenkinson, Greyson, Alison Pope, Kendall Halligan, Ethan Halligan and Lily Halligan; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Caldwell, Emory, Jamison Jenkinson, Elliot, Clara and Oliver Blackmer; and his siblings, Berta Morgan and Randy Shook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Selma Legion or the American Cancer Society.
