Cecilia A. Mellencamp Obituary

We bid farewell to Cecilia A. Mellencamp (Seymour, Indiana), born in Coloma, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2026 at the age of 82. Cecilia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Coates Sr. and Mildred Albert Coates; and her siblings, Kenneth Coates Jr., Floyd Coates, Esther Bryan, Judith Lewis and Nancy Yheulon (George DeWall).

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Jo Freeman (Robin) and Jeri Ann Burbrink (Brian); her grandchildren, Jamie Freeman (Matt Weimer), Carrie Arbuckle (BJ), Makenzie O'Neal (Dustin) and Ashley MacTavish (Symon); her great grandchildren, Jerrett Stark (Alexa), Kaitlyn Calandro, Zander, Zoey O'Neal, Monroe and Jack MacTavish; her great great grandchildren, Jackson, Jameson Stark and Krue Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Coates, Richard Mellencamp and Ronald Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
