He is survived by: his sister Vicki; his brother-in-law Brad Lucas; his brother Danny; his sister-in-law Cindy Manuel; and his nieces and nephews, Andy, Patricia Lucas, Christopher, Fen Lucas, Kevin, Kim Manuel, Kollin, Emma Manuel, Dustin, Sara, Jacob, Fancy and Delaney. He is also survived by many great-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be given in David's memory to The Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center in Seymour.
