He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Neal and Barbara Ann Stanton (Mitchell). He is survived by: his former wife Debbie Kadel; and his siblings, Sam Whatley (Marilyn) of Nixa, MO, Greg Brown (Denise) of Wichita, KS, Martha Ponsler (Doyle) of Seymour, IN and Edyth Meyer (Don) of Magadore, OH. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews; forty-three great nephews and nieces; and three great great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
