It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Elaine Baurle (Seymour, Indiana), who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zona Montgomery and Delmo Montgomery (Welliver); and her husband Darrell Baurle. She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Baurle (Marie), Darnell Dukes (Clifton), Deneen Lubker (Mark) and Deryk Baurle (Jill); and her grandchildren, Ryan Baurle (Amy), David Baurle (Catherine), Justin Baurle (Sarah), Erin White (Kory), Kristian Sitzman (Greg), Maci Lubker, Landen Lubker, Megan Dallam (Jack), Evan Baurle and Madalyn Baurle. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reddington Christian Church (10516 US-31, Seymour, IN 47274). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Reddington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority – Theta Omega Chapter, or to the Reddington Cemetery Association (Mowing Fund); reflecting her lifelong love of community and giving.
