She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bell and Molly Bell; her husband William Gottfried; her daughter Sandy Adkins; her grandson Michael J. Barrett; and her siblings, Gladys Bush, Pauline Hawn, Betty Turner, Helen Poland, Robert Bell, Ronnie Bell, Oscar Bell and Ben Bell.

She is survived by: her children, William Gottfried (Donna) of Seymour, Shirley Wolka (Stanley) of Seymour, Schella Smith of Lebanon and Connie S. Gottfried of Seymour; her grandchildren, David W. Bryan of Las Vegas, NV, Jon Carl Bryan (May) of Harlington, TX, Tammy Snell-Stover (JaCindi) of Mooresville, Katrina, B. Chris Willhite of Lebanon, Andrew Wolka of Zionsville, Anna M. Wolka of Zionsville, Shawn Gottfried (Julie) of Homer, AK, Gavin Bryan, Michael Bryan and Tea Marie Bryan; her great grandchildren, Timothy Allan Snell III of Lebanon, John Barrett of Lebanon, Jessica Barrett of Lebanon, Darveny Bryan and Jace; and her pet Sammie.

Memorial contributions in Esther's name may be gifted to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
