He was predeceased by: his parents, James Guy and Lela Faye Hitch Prewitt; and his wife Carolyn E. Sandhage. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Cline (Doug) of Columbus, James Prewitt (Crystal) of Seymour, Andrew Prewitt (Anita) of Seymour and Craig Prewitt (Stephanie) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Jessica Trueblood (Doug), Nathan Cline (Megan), Amber Stidham (Darrin), Cassie Prewitt, Adam Cline (Lauren), Allisha Nehrt (Levi), Leslie Terry (Heather), Jodi Prewitt (Michael Fitzpatrick), Jordan Prewitt (Ashlee), Justin Prewitt, Rebecca Peacock (Mike Lucas), Brittani Willoughby (Kenneth), Lillie Watson (Michael), Talon Prewitt and Mia Prewitt; and his brother Dennis Prewitt (Bobby) of Flowery Branch, GA.. He is also survived by thirty-five great-grandchildren.
