He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. James and Chesna Jones James. He is survived by: his sister Connie James Gerth; his nieces, Julie Gerth Chinn, Chris Ann Reed, Shannon Donatelle and Jill Harris; his nephew Patrick James Gerth; and his sister-in-law Connie Ann James.
