He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Lockhart and Ruth Lockhart (Piel); his siblings, Carroll Lockhart, Catherine Foreman and Janice Schuppert; and his pets, Fred and Shorty.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Lockhart; his children, William Lockhart (Jennifer DeHaven) of Columbus, Tina Lockhart (Regina Aldridge) of Columbus, Katie Douglas (Scott) of Scottsburg and Lisa Purvis (Brian) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Zachariah, Anastasia, Zoey, Kaylynn, Kinzie Lockart, Corey, Courtney, Caitlen Douglas, Brian Bland (Hannah), Nick Prouse, Kinzie Purvis and Adam Lockhart. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude, the American Cancer Society, or Donor's Choice.
