Geraldine May Von Dielingen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine May Von Dielingen of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Beavers and Frances Beavers; her brother Richard Beavers; her sister-in-law Delena Beavers; her son-in-law Dave Mellencamp; and her great grandchild Jannessa Ikerd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Scales (Bob), Kim Mellencamp, Janine VonDielingen and Lorri Knoll (Jonathan); her brother Roger Beavers (Karen); her grandchildren, Mark Scales (Madeline), Erin Ikerd (Lee), Amy Stewart (Cecil), Hannah Wheeler (David Misamore), Becky Wheeler (John Clark), Randy VonDielingen (Shanna Glass) and Robbie Knoll; her great grandchildren, Toni Moore, Jalen Scales (Victoria Dunno), Kendall Scales, Jayvin Ikerd, Madisyn Scales, Brendyn Scales, Jack VonDielingen and Ailey Knoll; and her great great grandchildren, Tori Evans and James Evans. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (1603 Shields Ave, Seymour, IN 47274).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Jerry's name, to Seymour Parks and Recreation's Bench Program.
