She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Jones and Stella Spurlock Jones; her brothers, Henry, Ray, Elmer, Jerry and Floyd Jones; and her stepgranddaughter Ashley Sweany.
She is survived by: her husband Garland Murphy of Seymour; her daughter Misty Schocke (Mark) of Vallonia; her stepdaughter Tracy Cable (Ryan) of Ohio; her sisters, Mildred Laws of Seymour and Eva Barker of Hebron; her grandchildren, Brittany Guthrie, Adam Schocke and Allie Schocke; her stepgrandchild JoVonne Sweany; and her great grandchildren, Atlas and Zate Guthrie.
