He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Sturgill and Emma Archer Batson. He is survived by: his wife Eva Lee Sturgill of Seymour; his daughter Tonya Dye (Dan) of Courtland, Indiana.; his sisters, Trecia Bumgardner (Ronnie) of Brazil and Patricia Stout (Jim) of Freetown; his uncle Fred Sturgill of Seymour; and his aunt Janet Jenner (Wayne) of Sunman, Indiana.. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, thirteen bonus grandchildren, and twelve bonus great-grandchildren.
