“I loved talking to Jerry about history. Jerry knew more about the Battle of Tipton's Island than anyone else. He had a wealth of treasured historical research and information. He was always glad to share. I will sorely miss him. He was a faithful member and leader in the local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. He enjoyed attending and participating in Indiana Society meetings where we would met up. I trust Jerry's descendants will continue in his footsteps of patriotism.”
