He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Melloncamp and Betty Melloncamp (Meahl); and his wife Sandra Kay Trueblood. He is survived by: his daughters, Deedra Kruse (Ervin) of Seymour and Kelly Marshall (Erik) of Trafalgar; his grandchildren, Ross Kruse, Reid Kruse (Nevaeh), Sandra Paxton Marshall, Reuben, Ryder Marshall, Coen Marshall and Rose Kruse; and his sisters, Wanda Lakins of Seymour, Denise Melloncamp of Brownstown and Kathy Fritz (Craig) of Brownstown.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (605 S Walnut St, Seymour, IN 47274).

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran Church Broadcasting, or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
