He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Wheeler and Anna Wheeler (Morgan); his wife Delores A. Jones; and his grandson Rex. He is survived by: his children, Jerri Burbrink (Curt) of Columbus, Royd Wheeler (Lisa) of Seymour, Robin Wheeler (Cathy) of Seymour and Roger Wheeler; his grandchildren, Justin Burbrink (Laura), Amanda Montgomery (Ryan), Joel Burbrink (Rebecca), Ryan Wheeler, Alex Wheeler (Sarah), Christopher Wheeler (Stephen) and Mahala Maxie (Michael); and his son Rex D. Wheeler.

The family requests memorials be directed to The Point Church or Schneck Hospice.
