With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe William Kerkhof of Seymour, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Palois D. Kerkhof and Ruth Kerkhof (Zimmerman); his wife Jane E. Johnson (Ripley); his sister Janie Powers; and his brother-in-law Mark Ripley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel A. Nierman (Michael) of Brownstown, Becky E. Hayden (Douglas) of Lowell and Amy E. Stanfield (Kyle) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Michala Nierman, Matthew Nierman (Allyson), Mallory Nierman, Noah Hayden, Riley Hayden, Izabella Stanfield and Callen Stanfield; his great grandchild Waylon Nierman; his sister Mary Ellen; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Snyder of Seymour, William Powers of Trafalgar, Chris, Dave Boggs of Seymour, Barbara Ripley of North Carolina and Holly Hill of Seymour.
Memorials may be given to the Jackson County Fair Beef Barn fund.
