He is survived by: his children, Ben Rothring, Alexis McLellan (Salina) and Mary Richardson (Patrick); his grandson Fintan Richardson; his siblings, Claudia Stenftenagel (Dennis), Marian "Tina" Judd, Thomas Rothring, Barbara Quigley (Jerome), Theresa Joray (Joe) and Lucretia Kuehn (Gary); and his sister-in-law Rita Surber.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (325 S Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274).
