He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John Earl; his wife Joyce Vogel of Seymour; his children, John Matthew Vogel of Indianapolis, James Patrick Allen Vogel of Seymour and Jennifer Suzanne Vogel of Louisville; and his brother Nicholas Vogel (Julie) of Reddington.
